Welcome back to today blog entry, I believe today blog entry will be highly related to many of you.
In a fast-paced society, where each day just simply flashed past us without us realizing.
To the extent that you realize that you are often tired even if you have more than 8 hours of sleep.
Why is that so???
The reason is simple, you are mentally drained, physically sound.
Since our body is just a machine to do the work our brain instructed it to do, when the brain is tired, our body will naturally feel tired at all times.
So what are some of the ways we can rest our mental, our soul?
Basically, it is to conduct in events that you enjoy.
Be it cycling along the road, hiking on the mountain, walking by the beach, just do things that will calm and soothe you down.
It has been 2 months since I am in China and I have adapted to the lifestyle here.
However, I recently realized that I am tired even though the school workload here in China is lesser than Singapore and I often have sufficient sleep but I will still feel tired.
Then, it dawned on me that I have not got the chance to calm my soul down for quite a period of time.
Which is why, this week, I will be introducing you guys to a art district in China called 798 art district where it is a decommisioned factory for around 50 years.
A lot of art gallery and interesting statues are placed there.
The moment I reached the 798 art district, the aura and atmosphere in the air can instantly be felt, where my soul start to get soothe.
For this trip, I went with Alvin, and both of us definitely got immersed in the art and we are mentally refreshed again.
Apart from enjoying the art from indoor, Alvin and I definitrly have fun doing it outdoor too.
Due to the fact winter is coming, the sky turned pitch dark as early as 6pm.
Which is quite regretful as there are still many areas left to be explored.
To counter the winter cold, Alvin and I had lamb for our dinner.
It taste wonderful.....
I guess after spending a whole afternoon here, we got infected by the artisry feel where our visit does not end here.
We patronize a cafe and enjoy the artwork there.
This trip is definitely soul-rewarding.
I urge everyone of you to conduct activities that are beneficial for your mental health so as to feel more energetic and have better performance in our daily life.
Vincent,
Signing out
